    value for money

    Uniden ubc125 xlt is a very nice radio (scanner). Good sensitivity (with stock antenna). Great audio and large Lcd display. love to carry it in my backpack and listen to amateur repeaters or aviation traffic etc. IMHO it has a few minor cons....i.e. battery life. I would like to listen more, with one set of batteries (2x aa battery). BUT you can recharge battery while you listen....very nice. It has not any auto power off function so I usually run out of battery. It also lacks of keypad light. but all these are minor... It is easy to program it via usb cable (and charging at the same time). great scanning speed, and many other nice features. As I already mention it is value for money! thanks for reading.
