    This is a fun family show and it brings back fond memories. And I much prefer this way of packaging. It's as if I'd purchased each season, individually, on its own. And then all those were nicely put into a larger outer box that contains them all. I recently purchased a complete series of another TV show, and those DVDs are all jammed together, inside one big plastic container. This type of packaging makes it difficult to remove the disks and I worry about damaging them.

    Another Oldie But Goodie!

    This oldie but goodie show from the sixties is well worth watching. Since I have dish I have found this show is not on any of the cable stations. It is a good value for the complete seasons set and is still funny. The jokes are vintage and not as funny as when I was a kid but I love the memories. I have enjoyed the first season and I am ready for season #2.

    Disappointed at the Video Quality

    This review is for the contents and picture quality of Mr Ed Complete series Box set that we just Purchased. Shout Factory missed the mark on this one. Yeah the Box looks nice, The DVD labels are pretty, however all the discs so far are all single layer discs with most discs having 7 episodes. For the uninformed, most single layer discs will hold up to 2 hours of Video at a decent compression (even with HDTV's). So these discs and episodes are highly compressed and some episodes are difficult to watch. Was looking at the Box and Liner Notes to see if there was any comment(s) about "due to the age of these episodes we have obtained the best masters" or something like that. Not a word. Disappointed at this Series Box set. Will not be buying these so called "Complete Series Box Sets" in the ...

I have to play the first episode and FF through to be able to watch the next among other strange problems will trying to view these discs. Pity, this was such a great show.     Difficult to make an episode selection

    I bought the 2014 version of Mr. Ed. I have a Samsung Blu-ray player that usually plays non-Blu-ray dvds just fine. (Bought MacGyver series and selections are very easy) Mr. Ed, when loaded, does not allow the normally easy selection of an episode. Have do a work around (of the menu) to find a selection. At least they are all there and do play.

    "Mr. Ed", A horse is a horse....

    I remember the show "Mr. Ed" from childhood, and remember enjoying it. What I didn't realize was how timeless and funny this show really was. The dialogue is great and the the way Mr. Ed learned to move his mouth was phenomenal. A gem from a time when laughter did not have to revolve around vulgarity.
