He noted it was high quality. I tested it out on some fruit and the soft suface texture seems to go really easy on the blade so this thing should preserve the edge of your knives. Do note this is a pretty soft board so be careful if you are using a heavy cleaver or heavy butcher blade on this as it could take a chunk out of it being so thin and of soft material. Factory new condition.
