    More Power

    Everybody likes more power. I decided to give this a try over the standard kit. It was more involved than I wanted it to be. Yes the distributor had to be removed like the directions said. The drive gear also to allow for a shim or washer to be installed. The rotor was reused with the magnetic ring under the weight plate with washers and hold down nuts. All this was to give proper clearance between the magnet and ignitor. I wanted to keep the original distributor look with better performance over the old point and condenser set up. The end result was easier starting and More Power. I can now say it was worth the time,money and effort to install this kit. And it did mean a lot to me to keep the original distributor in the vehicle. This is a recommended upgrade kit to use for non electronic ...
