Easy to sew wtih a variety of techniques and suitable for either preemie or term live baby.
I recommend Simplicity patterns for anyone who is learning to sew as well as those with more advanced sewing skills. The basic pattern pieces are few and easy to work with. For this particular pattern, those with more advanced sewing skills can easily add heirloom sewing techniques or work with more elaborate materials than those listed on the pattern envelope. This particular pattern includes sizes, not only for the little baby dolls for preschool mommies, but also continues up to size 22 inches, roughly the size of 3 month old real, live babies. The simple lines lend themselves to using entredeux, lace insertions, Swiss insertions, and even smocking. The green and white dress can be adapted to Madeira hems.
