The item was new in box; however, the box had been opened & the clothes out into a new bag. I would have preferred if the seal had not been broken. I guess it is my fault though for not checking the picture closely. The other box was new with the seal unbroken, which I am happy about. I am happy with the packaging & the fast shipping time. The price was a bit high, but it is difficult to find this particular type of Monst doll, so it was worth it to me. Overall, I recommend this shop & seller.
