Outstanding, well laid out MB.
This is simply one of the best motherboards available for the price. I've used BioStar boards since the late 90's and have found consistent reliability with each board I have installed. This board was a replacement for an HP s3720f slim line mobo that died. I really like the 3720 case and wanted to see if I could continue to use it with an i3 or i5 CPU. Clearly replacing it with another factory board (FOXCONN Irvine GL6E MCP73S01) was not an option. As a reminder, you will need to purchase new DDR3 RAM. Because of the case design, the layout of the MB is critical and the H61MGV3 was almost spot on to the original factory board. There is no significant cable (USB, audio, front panel) wiring changes required since the pin-out headers are virtually in the same location as the factory ... I did have to slightly modify the pin-out on the front panel (power light, HDD activity light) cable to match the MB's pin out, but that was nothing more than a 5 min task. With that said, If you want to use all the original USB devices and ports (WLAN, USB ports, memory card readers and media drive bay) you will have to add an additional USB PC-E card add two external USB 3.0 (nice enhancement over the factory layout) and the additional internal USB port needed. What is required to make it work - all parts purchased on eBay: Search for: 1- SuperSpeed 2-Port USB 3.0 PCI-E PCI Express Card 19-pin Low Profile Bracket 1- USB 2.0 9Pin header male to Motherboard USB 3.0 20pin Housing Female cable 10cm You'll also have to replace the power supply. The factory MB uses a micro power connector, the Biostar uses a standard connector. Additionally, the factory PS has very limited power support, so I replaced it with a HP Pavilion Slimline s3720f Replacement Power Supply which provides more supported wattage and all the required power connectors needed for DVD, SATA, etc. I'm running mine with an Intel i3, 8GB of RAM and a Samsung 840 EVO drive. It's a sweet little computer that packs a serious punch thanks to the Biostar H61MGV3.

Works like a charm
I used a Seagate hybrid drive which helps the bootup time. The computer goes from off to fully booted in less than 30 seconds. I also maxed the memory. Works like a charm I installed windows 8.1 also.
