    Good looking unit with one flaw

    The Volant intake look good and are made well, however they have a huge problem.....their powercore filters. These are some of the most restrictive filters I've ever seen, 3 vehicles at the shop dyno'd about 10-20rwhp less with the Volant vs a standard k&n intake. These filters are beyond restrictive, when we swapped the filters to a k&n filter on the Volant intake the dyno numbers increased. Now finding a k&n filter that fits the Volant is a hassle as the Volant uses a weird oval shaped mouth that the filter mount to. Good luck with this product.......
