About this product

Product Information

In this action game based on 2002's cinematic retelling of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Two Towers, players assume the roles of Aragorn, Legolas, or Gimli as they battle legions of goblins and orcs while using each character's sword, bow, or axe. The third-person title takes place across 16 levels inspired by the first two films in The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Stock photos and conceptual drawings from New Line Cinema were used to build 3D maps of the various outdoor and indoor locales.

Players will revisit the Mines of Moria in a chaotic battle against a Cave Troll, one of the game's five bosses, and eventually confront the corrupted wizard Saruman himself. The development team reportedly analyzed the films frame by frame to study each character's movements so they could be re-created in digital form. Instead of advancing through a series of one-on-one encounters, players will be thrust in combat with enemies coming from all sides and directions. Composer Howard Shore's musical score sets the tone for the epic battles that follow.

One of a kind! I received my order in a timely manner in bubble wrap, however the game had some issue in shipping and I needed the item replaced. The seller not only made sure to tell me he could refund me instantly, but offered to replace it for me. He spared no expense ordering another copy, throwing in another game for the inconvenience, and shipping it in a protected envelope so I wouldn’t worry. Caring seller with clear communication and can’t understate how kind he is! 11/10 ❤️

  • LOTR Two Towers

Two Towers is a fine asset to all of the Lord of the Rings material and is a great game. Pros: good graphics, landscape is really good and the and variety of maps you get to play on is great ,characters Aragorn, Legolas ,and Gimli all have different strengths and weaknesses for instance, Legolas has more archer upgrades and is a good swordsman but has fewer health upgrades than Gimli the Dwarf who has about double the health upgrades but only one archer upgrade and starts with only 27 throwing axes compared to Legoles's 60 arrows (Aragorn is bit of a mix between the two , the upgades ,cheats, and the unlockable level is fun ...

  • The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (GameCube)

Though I purchased this item for my nephew, I think it is one of the more advanced and likeable titles that was ever created, along with Harry Porter. The game is wonderful for kids from an early age and it also is not too extreme in animation and contents, as compared to the extremely violent and gory ones being made in the last few years. The mind absorbs what it sees, and perceives, and choosing friendly and safe games is the way our kids would more appreciate our giving.

  • Great Game

The game came came in exactly how it was described, in good condition, case, disk, and manual.
