Great early Barker, but take note
With this videotape, you get Clive Barker's early shorts Salome, in its full form, as cannot be found on YouTube, and The Forbidden, which isn't online as far as I can tell. Both works originating in the seventies, they are notable as they were made before he found success as a writer and later went on to direct adaptations of his written work. A valuable item if that's of any consequence to your interests. But take note that the videotape is released through a distributor specializing in "smutty" horror films, Redemption, and has a particularly ridiculous warm-up intro involving campy, topless vampires introducing the "smutty feature." If this is something to have as a companion to Barker's other work in a tasteful sense, that may be an issue. Hopefully, since it doesn't seem like ...
