    Samsung UBD-K8500

    This is a really nice player that's easy to use and beats the upscaling image quality of my previous BD player. I don't do 3D and don't have 4KUHD TV, so I can't give it that 5th star for those features. I have heard it does very well on the UHD material.

    Being newer and with actual external but...

    Being newer and with actual external buttons, I was excited to try it out. At first it didn't there was no signal to the TV, only when I would move the big, heavy HDMI cable a little up, down, etc.. where it plugged into the Blu Ray. Was the socket in back too loose? I used a different cable and it worked fine. Watched a move no problem. It's a little scratchy on top, but no one sees it since in a cabinet. Cool, now we can finally watch DVD's & Blue-Ray again!

    Samsung 4k player is very good.

    Plays 4k movies and all other formats very well. It also has a digital optical audio output which is becoming difficult to find.

    Incredible Deal

    This was supposed to be a replacement just in case my other one stopped working since Samsung stopped selling Bluray players in the USA. I have been using it exclusively for over a month now and have not had a single problem with it. It works perfectly and was a great deal.
