Tom Berenger stars in this ESPN movie as Paul "Bear" Bryant, the legendary Texas A&M football coach. Hired in 1954 to turn around the university's struggling football team, Bryant subjected the 100 hopefuls who showed up for training camp to a grueling regimen in the Texas heat. An intense physical test that not many believe they'll survive, players are soon dropping left and right. However, through this test Bryant determines which players have the drive to win, and by the end of summer he has put together a close knit team of 35 football players who believe they can conquer anything.

Great movie but bad DVD
It’s a great movie but I was sold a bad DVD. It freezes after about 10 minutes. It was advertised as a good DVD that works and I received one that doesn’t. I hope buffing it a few time will help. Very disappointed.

Great movie!
Junction Boys is a great movie! I've seen it probably five times and each time it's just as good. If you like football (at least a little) and are interested in the development of human behaviour (at least a little) then you'll love this movie. It was made for ESPN, so don't expect a "hollywood" style movie. It's character and plot driven, no 3-D glasses needed! Tom Berenger stars in the movie and is wonderful in the role of Bear Bryant, head college football coach.Junction Boys is a great movie!
