The title was fine.
The 1st doll in a series that is 33 years old is going to cost a ton. People are going to ask $100-150 just for the stupid box. The back, not the front, of the box of the doll I bought was a little beat up. But I got the doll at a very reasonable price and it is the only one my daughter was missing. I’m thrilled.

Been looking for "her" for quite a while...when I saw her...I knew... she would be the first addition (edition) to my collection. First in series
This 1988 barbie is the first in a highly collectible series. The majority of boxes were ripped open by girls on Christmas morning as this was not a collectible item yet. Finding a box in mint condition is rare.

I did not collect the original Happy Holiday Barbie series. I have always loved Barbie. I did however purchase them for my baby sister. I have collected other lines of Barbie Doll series for myself. I have collected all the dolls and ornaments starting in 1999 for myself as well as for my baby sister. A few months back, another sister introduced me to Ebay and "all" the possibilities. I now have almost all of the original Happy Holidays dolls and all of the ornaments. I could not have done it without Ebay. I have not been disappointed with anything purchased yet.
