This film was released in the United States as THE CONQUERER WORM to make the most of Price's association with his popular Edgar Allan Poe movies, even though the film has nothing to do with Poe's work. The cult following of WITCHFINDER GENERAL is well deserved. It is highly effective and well done. Get out the popcorn and get set for creepy fuin as only Vincent Price can deliver!
