The iPod charges and syncs without issues (though worth remembering this won’t magically make it sync faster, it’s still a 200s era USB controller on the mainboard). The mod is a little pricy but given how fiddly the work is I am happy to pay to have it done. Overall it is exactly the update the iPod needed for 2025.
