    Love the new Bond as much as I loved the old one.

    I am about half way through this one, but I have read enough of it to recommend this book. Deaver has somewhat recreated Bond to make him relevant to today's world. Flemming's Bond was a WWII vet, this Bond cut his teeth in Afghanistan. Deaver makes the transition very well, and even a Bond fan like myself loves the new incarnation.

    Terrible book

    As a James Bond fan, I found this book boring. The plot was very predictible and I found it not worth reading. Unlike Gardner, who focused on the characters, and Benson, who focused on the scene and plot, this storyline was unbelievable. Carte Blanche left me wondering why I bought it. The descriptions of the scenes were so bland and lacked depts that I wondered if this was written by a 5th grader. I would only keep the book for my Bond collection, but I do not plan to read it again. Not worth the price.

    GOOD STORY FOR A 21st CENTURY JAMES BOND

    New story line is good.I reccommend reading it. Not as good as Ian Flemming but a good read. I wonder if this story will become a screen play for Daniel Craig.

    A great find.

    Not being a James Bond groupie I haven't read it. I purchased it for my husband's birthday and I'm certain he will enjoy it. Anything written by Jeffery Deaver is good.

    I'd recommend this book to any Bond or Deaver fan!

    Great book, if you love suspense and other deaver books, you'll like this one. Reminds me of the Daniel Craig Bond movies!
