Good value TV.
Owned 1 week. After looking online for days and days then shopping for hours locally for a small, low priced TV/monitor like this, I gave up. I was on my way home and stopped by CVS to pick up a few things and saw the CLC503 - it was EXACTLY what I had been looking for! With just un-amplified rabbit ears hooked up, it picks up as many channels on US DTV that my full size TV with an outdoor (amplified) antenna does, so the receiver sensitivy seems better than average. Color/bright/contrast took a while to get set to my satisfaction, but the end result is an excellent image (all things considered) - could be a little brighter (without losing detail), but MORE than acceptable. Remote control, on-screen menus, and setup, are clear and concise even without the cryptic (translated chinese) ... Owned 1 week. As a VGA PC monitor - the resolution on my Ubuntu PC shows 1360x768 (16:9) and it's beautiful as a small monitor! Full screen 720p video displays beautifully! - Haven't tried the composite, S-video, or HDMI interfaces yet, but don't expect any problems - so far operation is flawless. Overall, the only negative I see here is future support - the web site for craigelectronics.com does not list this item as a past/current/future product, and therefore it does not appear to have any manufacturer support anywhere. As long as it keeps working as well as it does now - I'm okay. Knowing what to expect from 'unknown' Chinese suppliers products dumped in the US these days, (as any US consumer should!) if I get more than a year of good use - I'll be satisfied. Note: 2 dead pixels on right side of screen - 1 white, 1 green. I can live with that. Not even noticeable when watching TV - and doesn't bother me at all as a PC monitor. OVERALL: VERY GOOD VALUE.

I wanted something I could use with my security system. This Craig monitor fit the bill. It has a great quality picture and does just what I need. It appeared to be new and unused, but must have been in someone's storage for a few years. Didn't make any difference to me. It's great for my use.
