Great experience. I would recommend shipping tapes in boxes rather than bubble mailers — especially when they cost C $34 to buy and ship — but it made it here in good condition so I'm happy.

  • A Must Own For Any Teen Titans Fan

I've loved the series Teen Titans, it's combination of humor and characters with different backgrounds makes most every episode fun and unique. I think that this film is a great ending to the series. As a fan of the series since it's premiere I was very glad to hear it was being released. I was wowed by the last season and having more to see was really outstanding since the series had a nice run and the tie-in comic Teen Titans Go! was equally as fun as the episodes were (especially when it expanded on characters and events). But back to the movie. Teen Titans Trouble in Tokyo had beautiful visuals and a really fun story involving the characters. The setting of Japan gave many fun sight-gags and references that are interesting to notice. Another aspect that was fun was how each character ...

  • Trouble?

Trouble in Tokyo is the first and thus far only animated movie done in the style of the Cartoon Network animated series which borrowed heavily from Japanese manga and cartoons... meaning heavily distorted and comic facial expressions, a distinct art style, and a sort of hyper-kinetic nature of things always being in motion. Many seem to like it, many others I've talked to don't care for it. Done after the cartoon series was canceled this movie was meant to refocus on the Titans who were there in the beginning and resolve one of the major plots from the show: Robin and Starfire's flirtations with each other. The movie is good on it's own and pays even further homage to the show's Japanese inspirations by actually moving the cast to Tokyo for this adventure. But it really doesn't seem ...

  • Very fun movie. A must for every Teen Titans fan.

I absolutely love the Teen Titans and I'm so glad that Warner Brothers allowed the franchise to create a full length movie. The movie is full of action, humor, and fans' favorite Teen Titans and has tons of action from the beginning to the end. Sometimes the script and movie can get a little bit corny but it usually is right on and makes me really sad that this series ended so soon. This is definitely a must have for any Teen Titan fan and will keep people at the edge of their seat from beginning to the end of the movie.

  • Highly recommend this DVD. Very well done.

My son is 5 and he's bi-racial. This DVD is wonderful in showing the cutlural differences between USA and Japan. Through this, he's learned where to spot Tokyo on the world map, the business of karaoke, how big video archades are over there and I also enjoy watching this Teen Titan episode every single time. There are also 2 bonus episodes which he particularly enjoys.
