Wee Sing - In The Big Rock Candy Mountains (1995, VHS)
This cute movie has been a part of my daycare VHS collection for about 8 years or so. It is a familiar favorite standby when the kids are tired of watching all the new cartoons. The characters are very lively and happy, the interaction between the children and the make belief characters is intriguing, and the story line is good. While the styles are obviously dated, the movie has catchy, well known tunes the kids can relate to and easily sing along and dance with. This movie probably would not be in the children's top 10 favorites, but they would more than likely enjoy seeing it and singing along more than once or twice. Good for VHS
This is a must tape for 2-4 year old kids. My 2 1/2 year old loves it. Clearly, the producers spent considerably on costuming, which is the best of any kids tape I've seen. The story line and songs are excellent. The highlight is the "little bunny foo-foo" sequence. The stage settings are good. I also have this on DVD. The VHS is slightly lower visual quality than the DVD, as is expected.

Entertainment for kids they enjoy, great product, great value
I had a hard time finding this movie locally. Had it when my daughter was a baby 22 years ago, and she loved it. Will be expecting grandchildren soon and want them to be able to enjoy it also. This movie is sweet and corny but, kids really love it. (Had to watch it about 4 times a day and wanted to throw it out the window). I first bought this movie for my son at a yard sale when he was three years old and he enjoyed it so much and one day we were looking on e-bay and we saw it and at 14 years old now he remembered all the good times he had as a child watching this tape.
