It's always a special occasion when U2 hit the road to promote a new album. The year 2005 was no exception, as the band wowed worldwide audiences with the Vertigo tour, which featured a selection of classic old material coupled with tracks from 2004's HOW TO DISMANTLE AN ATOMIC BOMB. This release includes the full concert from the Chicago date of the tour, with Bono, The Edge, Larry Mullen Jr., and Adam Clayton demonstrating their considerable prowess as a live band. Despite their lengthy tenure at the top, the band still strives to innovate, and while the show isn't quite as spectacular as their '90s outings to promote ACHTUNG BABY and ZOOROPA, they still provide an impressive visual spectacle.

    U2 Vertigo Tour -- Awesome DVD

    If you've ever seen U2 live, this DVD will take you back and remind you of why they are the world's BEST touring band! They provide an atmosphere you won't get anywhere else. The Edge, ever Mr. Precision on the guitar, Bono who sings every song with every ounce of his being, Larry Mullen Jr. drummer extraordinaire, and Adam Clayton, Master Bass guitar player. If U2's goal is soul, they more then deliver!! This was my favorite purchase I ever bought on ebay!! Long live U2!!

    Vertigo for Vertigo!

    Vertigo 2005 is a classic dvd from a classic rock band, U2. This concert was great in person, and the footage on the dvd captures the magic and energy of a U2 show. The photography and cinematography is excellent and shows some things you cannot see unless you are on stage with the band. The sound is great too. This is by far my favorite music dvd, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves great music with exceptional lyrics.

    A well-filmed dvd of an incredible concert!

    If you were unable to attend the concert, do not despair; this dvd brings U2 right into your home. Although some of the footage is a bit grainy, overall the camera work is excellent, providing shots that concert attenders could never have seen. My only complaint is the predominance of red lighting. Although affective in concert, in the dvd it becomes a little hard on the eyes. Overall, an excellent concert video.

    I AM A HUGE U2 FAN!!! WHEN I HEARD THAT THEY WERE COMING OUT WITH DVD, I COULD NOT WAIT TO GET IT. THERE RECENT ALBUM IS FANTASTIC, MOST OF THE SONGS ARE FROM THEIR NEW ALBUM, BUT THEY ALSO PLAYED A NUMBER FROM THERE PAST ALBUMS. THE SONGS, RUNNING TO STAND STILL, 40, AND ONE, ALL ENOUGH TO PURCHASE THIS DVD ALONE!! DONT WAIT!! GET THIS ITEM ON EBAY.........TODAY!!!!!!!!!! YOU WILL LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
