    Not only for salsas

    This books title can be deceiving as it’s not about making excellent salsas. Lots of great recipes and all the hows and whys. From experts to being cooks there is tons of great information and recipes. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to drastically improve on Mexican cooking.

    Salsas That Cook

    I also received this book as a gift. Learning about all the basic salsas was great. It is a very easy cookbook to follow if you are a beginner in Mexican cuisine. I have cooked just about everything that is in the book. All the salsa use basic ingredients that most cooks have on hand. But even the other ingredients are usually in your grocery store. I would highly reccomemd this book to the beginner cook.

    Title deceiving

    The book does have some complicated salsas.... but, it’s NOT a complete book on salsas! Interesting and good recipes that use salsa to cook with. Wished I had read reviews before my sleepy eyes bought this.
