    I also received this book as a gift. Learning about all the basic salsas was great. It is a very easy cookbook to follow if you are a beginner in Mexican cuisine. I have cooked just about everything that is in the book. All the salsa use basic ingredients that most cooks have on hand. But even the other ingredients are usually in your grocery store. I would highly reccomemd this book to the beginner cook.
