    Remarkably good for the price

Using this adapted to a Nikon Z6 with the FTZ adapter. You don't get autofocus, but the electrical contacts allow you to adjust the aperture in camera, and exif data is recorded. Also, because the camera can read there focal length, it will adjust the stabilizer settings accordingly. Image quality is really good, even wide open; stopped down to f8 yields excellent sharpness and CA goes away. It's made of mostly plastic, which I think is a pro, since it's not going to make the camera front-heavy. On the Z6 with the adapter it's about the same size / weight as the 24-70 f4 kit lens. It's not optically perfect, but for the price, I don't think there's anything else that comes close.

  • Good Lens good construction great price

The Tamron 19-35mm lens has good construction and solid lightwieght materials I love the fact that it is a wide angle lens that can manualy focus. It does take a little time to focus to get sharp clear pictures but if you practice a few close up shot you will get it point on. However it is not the sharpest lens out there but it will do the trick. I use it on my Nikon D5200 and it does fine for what I need it for. I would reccomend this lens and will probably be buying another Tamron zoom to complete my collection

  • Tamron SP 70-210mm F/3.5 Model 19AH

This lens gets a rave review at the Adaptall-2 website - http://www.adaptall-2.com/lenses/19AH.html This is a great lens for not a lot of money, and with a couple of different mounts can be used on four of my cameras. Initial pictures I've taken are perfectly sharp, but those are just test images. I'm looking forward to using it on some real subjects soon.

  • Full frame Gem!

I shoot professionally and have used a number of wide angle lenses in various formats on digital and film, including zeiss and other brand names including Cannon or Nikon. I generally steer away from non brand lenses. My subject matter varies from landscapes to architecture to people or large groups on location. I also used some third party lenses with mixed results when it relates to the images they deliver. Some suffer from issues with sharpness, color distortion and the like. And with any wide andle there are sacrifices. For the money however, this lens is a hidden gem and unless you can't handle its relatively inexpensive price you would be a fool to spend more on a brand name lens that delivers a like range and similar quality images. [It is moreover like a 20 to 35 but it is very ...

  • Not bad!

Pleasantly surprised by this lens, great value at such a bargain price. Durable construction. Slow to focus at times, but manageable.
