Heroes Over Europe is a combat flight simulation set during World War II. A high-def-capable sequel to the previous console generation's Heroes of the Pacific, the game focuses on dogfights, calling on players to use both skill and three-dimensional tactics to shoot down enemy fighter planes. Over three dozen flyable aircraft are featured, including all major models employed by German and U.S. forces. As with its predecessor, the game's difficulty can be adjusted, to accommodate realistic flight sim-style piloting challenges as well as a more forgiving arcade style of play. The action takes place in some of the war's most infamous air battles, over detailed recreations of London, Berlin, and other city and countryside locations. As many as 16 virtual pilots can fly into battle together online, in four multiplayer modes.

Fairly good program.
The graphics could be better and it would be nice if the game could be Joy stick compatible for more realistic flight controls. It is not as good as Microsoft WWII Europe and Pacific.

Hate This Game, Probably Never Play It Again
The controls are hard to get used to, and the campaign mode is difficult and frustrating. I wanted to throw the controller several times, but I just turned the game off. The online mode is very lacking in content, there are ranked matches and unranked, yet when I played a ranked match, some of the highest ranked players were in game? making it pointless. then there are a few different games like dogfight, team dogfight, team survivor, and survivor, but anything other than team play is a free for all and it has no point other than shoot down anyone near you. Not realistic at all. Even on teams you are either axis or allied, but can choose from the other sides aircraft. Some planes have bombs, but no targets to drop them on. If you must play, rent it or buy it used here on Ebay. Don't pay retail for this garbage.

The graphics are great and the flying is a bit different from the Blazing Angels or Ace Combats,but it's still a good game to play.Why do you think I bought it? I'm Retired U.S.Air Force and I like to fly planes on any console.ps1,2,3,Xbox,Xbox360,Super Nintendo,Sega Genesis, or PC.

Great flight controls and realistic dog fights!!!The most amazing WW 2 flying game I ever played. It makes you feel like you were really there.

Great name and game
This is a fun game, easy to play without any extra devices. Take you see sick medication before playing because after you fly upside down and do a couple of barrel rolls you will feel the motion baby.
