    Its good but...

    The sp-c22 is a good center channel....for less than $100. Bass is present. I hear what other reviews are saying by "the midrange is muddy", but its not bad. The highs are clear and crunchy. Its definitely a speaker more biased for music. But works just fine with my 7.1 set. Once I set speaker volumes and blended the EQ with my current speakers and setup, it paired nicely. It definitely broaden the sound stage. The c22 as a 3.1 vs a soundboard and sub. Save the money and go soundbar. If you want a good sounding top-tier budget center channel, this is you db per dollar.

    It doesn't stand out, yet, I don't have any complaints either

    Things I liked: The tweeter has good definition and added much needed highs to my setup It includes a couple rubber strips to place the speaker upon The mid lows are not muddied like on the rest of the speakers on the home theater Thing I would improve: Its heavier than other speakers of about the same specs I would optimize the design to reproduce mostly highs (since that's what sounds pretty good already) and have the woofers optimized for spoken word (around 500Hz to 6KHz or so?)

    I gave it 5 starts overall it's the best value for your money

    I prefer the sound of this speaker for its natural sound its never ear fatiguing I listen to this speaker for hours it's sound best with higher wattage amplifiers I prefer over the second generation Andrew Jones did a good job this speaker has above average sound quality just use a high quality subwoofer by the way

    Big center channel speaker with a big clear sound!

    This speaker is a great addition to any surround sound. The speaker is a little big so I had to get a riser for my television but it the sound is worth it. For the price, the sound is incredible and all of the dialogue in movies and tv shows sound clear and loud.

    Fantastic Speaker for the price

    I recently bought this speaker to go with the rest of this set. The speaker itself sounds fantastic for the price! You can't get any better than that for right under $100. But it's not the best out there if you are an audiophile. You'll definitely have to drop some more money if that's the case. It's also a little larger than I would like. Overall, amazing speaker!
