  • No Bedlam! It's Soulful and Moody.

    I love this recording. Every song on it is a winner with me. I got the Edited version, because I don't have any interest in music with bad language in it, but I hear they only deleted a couple of words. So it's mostly the same as the regular version. James Blunt is a terrific songwriter of heavily emotional, moody and deep songs. This isn't for the person who likes things that are light, funny, surfacy. But if you like to hear a musician who can emote and express his angst about things like broken relationships and the sorrow of war, then you'll like this recording. The song that got all the radio play, "You're Beautiful," is pretty and bittersweet. "High" is nice and positive, but most of the songs are rather soulful and introspective.   • Bedlam is Beautiful

    This first work by James Blunt sure has moody and rich melodies on it. with "You're Beautiful" being the smash-hit, a lot has to be said for other tracks on this release. "Wisemen", "So Long Jimmy" and "High" sure are incredible too. I think you'll find this cd to be worth it. LJBDHC
