    Great price great piece of equipment,I'm very pleased

    It's five star because I took a chance buying it not knowing if it worked or not .and with it not having the power supply to verify that it would power up or not.i was skeptical that it would work. But they assured me that if it didn't I could return it.so I bought it .found the correct power supply and it worked perfectly .I had one just like it but it got damaged by a friend of my son. They don't make this unit any longer but it's a great one to have in my collection

    A must for karaoke

    I run karaoke shows. Some singers whisper, some scream. Some disks are recorded loud, some not. I use two units. One for music, one for singers. It goes a long way in helping to keep a consistent sound level. It boosts soft singers that normally are hard to hear and limits the screamers. Same with music. Example: "Mack the Knife" music starts soft, and finishes quite loud. The processor limiter does a good job of boosting the intro, and limiting the over loud ending.

    Good sounding and easy with a caveat

    The compressor sounds good and works well except for an issue with the noise gate on one of the channels which becomes "insensitive" after a period of time i.e. the threshold moves higher. It seems almost random but I suspect that may be the reason this item was such a deal.
