    Excellent all purpose cookbook

    I've been using a much older version of this cookbook for years and love it. This updated version is terrific, and covers a lot of equipment changes and additions since that version was published. The photography is excellent, and a lot of helpful mini tutorials have been added. One important note: Many of the recipes I rely on have been dropped to make room for the new, so if you have an older version like I did, keep this in addition to, not in place of, the older one. Both have value to cooks of any level.

    My Favorite Cookbook

    My Mother bought me this cookbook about 15 years ago - I update it every few years with the newest version. (partly because I use it so much and get food on the pages!) This book has everything for someone who is just starting to learn to cook - to someone who has cooked their whole life. Basic recipes to fantastic meals....... easy to read and simple to follow. Awesome pictures and reference guides to answer just about any question. I will always keep this book handy for as long as I own a kitchen!

    Better Homes and Gardens Hardback Cookbook

    I love this cookbook. I received one at my household shower 31 years ago and still use it today. I keep several on hand for showers and weddings and give one to each couple. It has common everyday recipes and explains terms used in cooking. It illustrates steps in food preparation that even the novice cook can understand. I buy the cookbooks on eBay when I find good deals on them and I've never been disappointed.

    Better Homes and Gardens Cookbook Pink Edition (2007)

    I have several older editions of Better Homes and Gardens Cookbooks. All of the editions are great quality. This is a super update. I like the twist of including Food Network chefs, excellent idea! I appreciate the BHG suporting the cause for women w/breast cancer with the pink edition. This cookbook will be the #1 spot among the very good cookbooks I enjoy using including the Food Network chefs. Now I feel I have several cookbooks in one.

    Better Home and Garden Cookbook

    I bought the Better Homes and Garden Cookbook about a month ago. My sister and niece had the same book and I liked what I saw. There were receipes that I have been trying to find as well as colorful pictures and descriptions of different cooking techniques as well as cooking utencils. I have enjoyed going through the book and look forward to using it. The only thing I do not like is that the binder on the bottom broke. Other than that, I truly do recommend this cookbook to those who enjoy cooking and would like a large variety of receipes.
