Raton Pass (1951) is an unusual. seldom seen and very exciting western starring Dennis Morgan, Patricia Neal, and the great Steve Cochran. The DVD was packaged very carefully, including a foam insert inside the case plus the disc enclosed in an envelope to keep it from being scratched. Arrived in great time. Many thanks for the extra care and great service. Cheers!

  • A Fun Sci-Fi Thriller From The Fifties!

This is a low-budget, but entertaining update of "Frankenstein", with some Donovans Brain" thrown in as well. When a brilliant scientist (played by Ross Martin of Wild, Wild West fame) is killed in a truck accident, his equally brilliant, but misguided father, implants the brain of his deceased son into a giant robot -- resulting in unexpected consequences for both of them and their family, too. This 70 minute film has decent effects, a reasonable pace, and very good acting. And it ends with a dramatic conclusion in NYC!

  • great piano score by van cleave!!!

always loved this movie!!! why they never show it on tv is a mystery to me!!!

  • Slow with few surprises

Nice to see Ross Martin early in his career. Frankly the trailer for this movie (which wasn't included in this disk) is better than the movie itself which is slow and ponderous like the main character.
