    Timeline meets French Comedy

    Jean Reno the co-star of Ronin in an excellent French comedy about a knight and his vassal transported into the 21st century Franch....Sound foolish? You betcha, and even with subtitles a hoot..If you know any French even better. A fun story well crafted and kind of Peter Sellers meets the Marx Brothers minus Harpo...If you want War and Peace, rent or buy that..If you want a good foolish movie with some laughs and an interesting plot..Buy or rent this one...In a serious time it is fun to just laugh without thinking about it..Try it, you'll like it...

    Appropriate - they were time travelers & only visiting.

    Funny movie. Saw it on cable, had to have it. This IS the only foreign film that I have ever purchased. Sub-titled comedy movies with action sequences, like this movie, are fun to watch over and over. When you first see it, you are reading dialog and may miss little mannerisms and/or actions that you catch after you know what the dialog is presenting. This little move is full of these humorous little bits that make this movie a pleasure to watch. It is every kids dream to go back in time, this move reverses that idea and brings the past to present day with all its folly. Its fun for the whole family. I believe this version is much better than the American version, it is more spontaneous and the humor is not canned.

    The Visitors

    This is the original version from the sequel Just Visiting. Much better made and original. I saw it on VHS, but it did not have subtitles, so my wife was a little lost. Now on the DVD, she will be able to read their hilarious script and appreciate the situations better. Jean Reno is an awesome actor (recall him from La Femme Nikita, Leon, small part in Godzilla, and Empire of Wolves, with his buddy actor, Christian Clavier. A Must See!

    Haliarious !Jean Reno takes on a comedy role along with Christina Applegate and the results are 5 Stars!Great fun to watch for young and old.Only complaint I want a sequel!
