I feared it might be cheap metal, and not well made however, I was very pleased with the quality and look. The push in closure/opener does not randomly come undone, even in a purse that is often quite full of stuff. Hinges and spring hinge for holding bars appear to be of adequate quality to hold up to repeated uses. The etch design is very pretty, hasn't scratched (remember, purse full of junk comment), and have even dropped it on the ground without scratching or denting. Perfect size for a full pack of 100 sized cigs. If another design comes up, I would also purchase that.I feared it might be cheap metal, and not well made however, I was very pleased with the quality and look. I love the durability of this case. The closing mechanism is great compared to others I have had in the past. It actually holds the cigarettes firmly!!! My only downsides are the fact it fell out of my pocket while sitting down (twice) and did open up. I use standard size tubes, so maybe if they were 100's they may have hold in better? C'est la vie. We can't win them all. Also, I do a lot of yard jobs, so in the times when I am lacking pockets, I would stick my case in my sports bra. Ooo this one is a bit chilly since it is metal lol. It's also bulkier than others I have had, but I would say the overall function is worth the trade.I love the durability of this case. Great quality. Metal is thicker & solid thN I expected. For the price I paid I thought it would be thin soft material, but no......it is solid, durable & great looking. I travel a lot & didn't like getting my cigarettes getting smashed up. This is perfect, & shuts tight. Keeping the cigarettes fresh longer. Fits 100's size cigarettes. I had another case before this & it got smashed, but this is a solid material. . People are impressed when I pull out a cigarettes, they think it is an expensive item. Let's face it, smoking is a very nasty habit. However, as a moderate smoker, I did not like removing a cigarette from an ugly pack. With the etched case, it doesn't seem as ugly and nasty of a habit. I absolutely love the case. I thought I had misplaced the case the other day and was frantic to find it!

Bought this for the wife. I don't smoke. She rolls her own cigs so she was constantly buying and breaking the cheap plastic cases. She went through at least a dozen of them before I just bought her this metal case. So far she likes it. It seems to be pretty well made and functions as it should. I did read some reviews of people having problems with the springs that make it function but so far that has not happened with hers. I will update this if it does.Bought this for the wife.
