    Just as described

Exactly what you see in the photo, some use wear. But the inside is where it counts, going through book 1 and it looks clean on the inside, no bent pages, no writing or smudges anywhere to be seen. 2 and 3 are on my bookshelf/counter/Display just waiting to be read. I'll be looking for the next books of the Drizt seiries, or the Eberon Dreaming dark 3 book series set i loved reading growing up. If sender owns and would sell these books i'd be glad to buy them come Friday.

  • They just don't write like that anymore

Salvatore heard the cries for more Drizzt and answered with a prequel series. These books are written in the same style as the Icewind Dale series, and both of these trilogies rank right up there with the Weis and Hickman Dragonlance books. Although I am somewhat new to the Forgotten Realms world, I have read many of the DragonLance books. I liked the earlier books the best, some of the later books were fairly bogged down and although they did not end the world they did close the door for future adventures in that realm. The Dark Elf Trilogy is a fundamental fantacy novel which has all of the basic components for a great read, and also has given later authors ideas for some of their works. Tolkein may have started modern fantacy, but authors like Salvatore and Weis and Hickman have brought ...

  • R.A. Salvatore is a Genius

I was first introduced with R.A. Salvatore about 5 years ago, when I download a Demon Awakens (DemonWars Series) free from audiobooksforfree.com. I loved every minute of that audiobook even though it was abridged and very cruddy quality. I didnt know of Icewind Dale or Drizzt at all just loved how the wrote. 1 Year ago I was in hastings and saw Spear Weilder Trilogy book and took a chance, the author sounded familiar. I am so glad I did. After that I did lots of research about RA and found that he wrote DemonWars and lots of other books. I keep hearing the name Drizzt Do'Urden, I knew I would come to love that charater and did. So I bought Icewind Dale and it rocked. I just want more and more.

  • Extremely well developed plot and characters!

Loved these books! The 'dark' side was a little tough for me, but Drizzt captivated me! The stories were so well developed, as were the characters. I think there is a lot to learn from Drizzt if you care to follow his stories and believe in him. The author did a great job in giving details of the surroundings without bogging you down in them. He was able to relate everything to everything so it all was easy to read, follow and want more. If you want action, it's here. If you want sentiment, it's here. There are so many avenues between good things and bad things that Drizzt describes and experiences, you feel like you are living it with him. I highly recommend the books if you really want to get attached to the stories and feel like you are part of a fantasy world for a while.

  • Dark Elf Trilogy

The Dark Elf Trilogy is one of my favorite fantasy epics. R.A.S is a great writer and once I picked up his book I couldn't let it down. the book excels at battle descriptions, lots of battles and action and also plot twists and even those who are not familiar with the fantasy genre would enjoy it. The book is very readable - I have a full time job but it took me only a week to finish it, and it's an 800 pager. A must for any fantasy edict, but not only. AC
