According to my contact at the USPS (I worked there for 21 years, and yes, he is an actual, living, breathing person, with a voice and a pulse...), it has not been picked up by a carrier yet, nor has it been dropped off to any location (that what he tells me, ten days after the status of the item was changed to “shipped”). My son’s birthday has come and gone. Seller was huge disappointment.
