    Enjoyed it More the 2nd Time!

    I loved this movie and have been trying to get a hold of it for a while. Her performance was brilliant it is clear to see why she won the Oscar for best actress. Tragic life Edith led but what a voice! Forgot it was french with English subtitles (have to pay more attention!) but well worth watching.

    La vie en rose dvd

    The disc was horribly damaged. The last half an hour I couldn’t watch at all. It just kept freezing up throughout the whole movie. Terrible to sell a dvd in that condition. It’s wasn’t expensive, but when you can’t watch it, it’s worth nothing. Very disappointed!

    Basically, the tragic story of a woman pursued by ambition and personal tragedy.... more or less the Frendh Judy Garland.

    This movie was on my "to do" list for a very, very log time. I was happy to purchase it and pleased wit hhe results of the effort. The product can in a timely fashion and was well packaged... a good value for the price.

    An amazing film for such a tragic life....

    Being a true lover of all sorts of music, I had heard of Edith Piaf and of the emotion she projected in the gift, that was her voice. Never did I dream, that she had been such a tortured soul, as what we see come to Life, so amazingly portraied in, La Vie En Rose. This film is mesmorizing for many reasons, the music, the emotion, the glimpses of sheer destruction and chaos that are so common amongst true artists, but the performance;my god, what a performance! I was transfixed that a woman could have really gone thru all that she did. I can't even begin to explain this film, you must watch it for yourself and if you love edith's voice, when you watch this film, you will treasure her even the more, you may even want to rescue her like I did. But, alas, if we did that, we may ...
