'I Love You, Honeybear' was recorded from 2013 to 2014 in Echo Park, Los Angeles. There's a case to be made that it sounds and acts a bit like Scott Walker, Randy Newman, Harry Nilsson, and Dory Previn. The songs are a narration of my experience falling in love. My ambition was to address the sensuality of fear, the terrifying force of love, the unutterable pleasures of true intimacy, and the destruction of emotional and intellectual prisons with an imprint that is undeniably my own.

Journey the emotional spectrum; exposed to the raw newness of true Love
I bought this album because I loved "Fear Fun" and felt his musical genius on a very deep level. What I loved about this album was the raw and exposed deep thoughts and feelings he shares in this album. As i listened, I felt myself relating to everything on a very personal level. He shares both masculine and feminine expressions and they intertwine into something only writers can express from personal experience. The yolk of his inner soul has been penetrated and seeped into every track on this album but also keeps his witty humor about it. The musical harmonies melt and blend into a rare and unusual flavor. Its not Fear Fun if thats what youre looking for, this is something all its own.. a definitive transformation of himself that shows through all the unusual and unique tracks he ... It made me uncomfortable. It made me intoxicated with my own memories of love. I felt fear, insecurity, vulnerability. There was a sort of relation to the infantile expression of how we love others and we are just like everyone else who has been humbled by true love yet it's always unique in the experience. The feelings and thoughts it provokes are wide, vast, and very welcomed. Its the mirror reflection of seeing yourself within another person. Soul mates. It's realizing what a joke other relationships before the real deal had been. And it's realizing you are completely helpless and at the mercy of someone that is your equal; trusting them with the most deepest parts of yourself and coming up out of the waters feeling brand new and unfamiliar yet enlightened in a brand new sense of self. Its passion ladled room service. Bubblegum and ectasy. expired milk and jealousy.
