    Clean air

    Not meeting expectations

    I bought this product to eliminate the smoke smell in my apartment coming from another apartment. I'm sure it's doing some good, but at the end of the day when I walk into my apartment, I still smell a lot of smoke. I have a total of 3 air purifiers in a 950 sq. ft. apartment, 2 of which are this model. It's not doing what it claims to do.

    Odor complainers are unreasonable

    This removes particulates floating in the air… Complainers expecting complete odor removal are unreasonable & lack logic. Odor does not exist only in air. Odor molecules embed over time on all surfaces - walls, ceilings, furniture, fabric, fixtures. This unit does not scrub all these surfaces, only elbow grease will do that. It’s not bad that eBay leaves the words of these unreasonable reviews up so people can see how unreasonable their fellow buyers can be… the pre filters can be washed & reused to extend the life cycle of the filter replacements.

    OK but does NOT remove cigarette odor as intended

    I read reviews - mostly on Amazon - regarding this unit's ability to remove cigarette odor. Unit and filters for one year cheaper than just the filters for my older unit (which did not do the job of removing the odor). However: this new unit does not eliminate the cigarette odor in my single-room apartment when there is smoking going on elsewhere in the building. It does reduce the strength of the odor, but the odor remains powerful. I will be looking into more expensive, supposedly more effective units for this particular purpose.

    good but wish noise levels were different

    Good air filter, the only problem is it is way too quiet on the middle setting and way to loud on the highest 3rd setting. For having this in a room and wanting a little white noise with out a tornado it won't work well for my bedroom.
