I discovered upon testing this gamepad that several buttons were not functional, and while I was able to repair it, this item was in a significantly more used condition than described in the auction. After contacting the seller to explain the situation, they responded quickly and offered to make things right. While I did not take the offered credit, the quality customer service was appreciated. Also, the gamepad was very securely packed. A positive experience overall, with a major caveat.

I bought this CD because I'd owned a copy before, but decided to selli (stupid me!) when I got the remastered version w/bonus tracks, only to find out (too late) that the remastered version lacked certain subtle touches, like the little 'ting!' that precedes Tim Booth's saying "Here they come again, here they come again..." in the opening track, "Out to Get You"... This was the first James album I ever heard, and it remains one of my all-time favorite CDs, along w/"Seven & "Millionaires"...My favorite tracks on "Laid" include the title track. the aforementioned "Out to Get You," & the album's closer, "Skindiving." If you're new to James, I highly recommend this album as a ... It is not stuck in my head anymore
A part of "Laid" was stuck in my head for truly YEARS. The words are not the clearest, so I was pretty wrong about them when searching for it. I heard it 2 days after finally getting Sirius/XM, and bought it instantly. It is not stuck in my head anymore, and I now know the words better.

One of the best...
IMO This album would have to be one of the best compilations of songs put to one disc. Not a concept album or story, however, a look into manic minds. A journey through paranoia, depression, malice, deceit, obsession and hopelessness. Not that the album is completely somber. James shows off a good range of style with upbeat tunes and a depressing lullaby. This album is great for many moods.

Another Hit
This band should be famous, but they are virtual unknowns. Listen to this CD. Buy their other CDs. You won't be disappointed. Some of the best music being produced today. Don't let the "pop" label scare you off... these boys are anything but mainstream.
