Total Zinc!
Being a Turtles fanatic that I was since they were a hit producing band from the 60's, I was overjoyed to see that they had put out, "The Turtles Anthology: Solid Zinc." This 2-CD set, a total of 51 songs, which includes all the hits, including, "It Ain't Me Babe," "Let Me Be," and their biggest No.1 hit, "Happy Together." The only let down for me was that for some reason they failed to include all the songs that were on their original 2-record set, "Happy Together Again," that I was hoping to replace from my old 8-track days. (Actually, I just assumed they would put that out in CD, which never happened.) Be that as it may, the songs that were included are all classic Turtles and every one is a gem in itself. The thing I really like about these "Anthologies" is that the story of the band, ... That is a story in itself. A definite must have for any Turtles fan.
