Good product for young kids - addictive!
Well designed and easy to use for young kids. Both my daughters are hooked on it, which I suppose is not good. The only feature that I thought was lacking was the voice recording limited to only 10 sec. If you want to record extended speech or singing, you have to transfer to the memory card from a digital voice recorder. Also disappointing is that the web browser is an app that has to be purchased for $30, it is a bit misleading to just it can access the Internet over Wi-Fi.Well designed and easy to use for young kids. DSi is OK
I got my son the DSi.. He loves it. for it does have more feature's then the DS and DS light. It has a camera, internet, and storage. though with the new extra's you loose the expansion slot. So the guitar hero adapter will not work and you can not play old gameboy games on it. other then that it is better then the DS and DS light. As for the Metallic Blue. it's just a color. nothing special about it.I got my son the DSi.. He loves it. for it does have more feature's then the DS and DS light. Great as a starter system on a limited budget
I bought both the DS and DSi for my kids for Christmas. They both have some good and bads for sure but what I do like is the easy of the power button, its easier to use the directional pads and buttons, the screen is a little clearer and easy to see. Of course you cannot use GBA games but you can purchase things from the DSi store which in my opinion is a nicer option.
