Patience Philips is a shy, reserved young woman who wants to be an artist but instead is a designer for an advertising company. But a series of events initiated by a mysterious cat results in her discovering a terrifying secret that leads to her murder. That same cat breathes new life into her, creating a strong, brave woman within her that wrestles with her previous self for control of her mind and body--a body that can now do amazing things.Academy Award winner Halle Berry is captivating as Patience, a female superhero for the 21st century. She is fearless as she seeks revenge on the people who killed her, and she attempts to save the public from the release of a dangerous product. As the Catwoman side of her battles George Hedare (Lambert Wilson) and his wife, Laurel (Sharon Stone), who he has decided is now too old to be the face of his company, the Patience side of her gets involved with hot cop Tom Lone (Benjamin Bratt), who is caught in the middle of her two-sided personality. First-time director Pitof keeps things moving at a fast pace, with quick cuts, sweeping camerawork, and pounding music. Alex Borstein provides comic relief as Patience's best friend, and SIX FEET UNDER's Frances Conroy plays a cat lady who knows the secret history of felines through the ages.

    Look what the kitty left in her litter box -- Catwoman!

    A genuine piece of movie crap!! I kept waiting for halle berry to get down on the floor and start licking parts of her body that havn't been on film scince monsters ball!! At least then the movie might have been worth a good watch. Halle berry (who is usually one of my favorite actresses) Phoned in her role and apeared to be reading directly from the que cards -- Bratt was his usual self, which isn't a good thing for all movies and sharon stone was absolutly rediculase --- BOTTOM Line - Bad Plot, Bad Scrip and bad acting equals a bad movie, end of story and case is closed...

    Perfect Title and Very Entertaining

    Hale Berry portrayed catwoman superbly! I was very pleased - she was sexy, cunning, intelligent and sensual. I loved that the movie gave you insight on the history of the catwoman, how a woman is chosen as such, and how 9-lives are used, just to name a few. The catwoman in this movie did very good solving a crime; even losing some of her "lives" in the process. The romance she had with the investigator of the catwoman was very beguiling and sexy. Showing real cats in the movie was very interesting. I have heard some negative remarks regarding Halle Berry's cat woman attire; however, her attire was perfect, sexy and right for her.     the Catwoman origin story.., before she ever met Batman..a true delight, a stand alone Fable portrayed nicely by Halle Berry. is she a Hero, or a Villain? Only the night knows for sure..

    Halle Berry Is A Great Catwoman

    I seem to think this movie was a little better than they gave it credit for. Halle Berry is great in this. The effects are good. The story could have been a bit more complex, but other than that it is a good movie. In my opinion the story level of this movie was one that could have been a made for TV movie instead of the big screen, but that doesn't make it a bad movie.

    Life Is Good

    My 3 year old grandson has wanted this movie for almost a year now. We thought he would forget about it. He wanted it for his birthday no could find it. So we tried for Christmas..still couldn't find it. He was not a happy camper. When he found he saw it He said WOW you got it NaNa. Wow. Can I watch it now. He sat down and watched it all the way to the end. He loves it. He had to take it home and watch it again..right away.. He also is a Big fan of Halle"s
