Product Information

Joe Montana II Sports Talk Football breaks new ground with its use of digitized speech and is the first videogame to feature continuous play-by-play commentary of the action happening on the football field. The game features teams from NFL cities, but does not have an actual NFL license, so there are no authentic logos, uniforms, or players included.<br><br>Gameplay takes place on a horizontally scrolling field with small players. When a player receives the ball, the action zooms in for a more detailed view. There are several options to configure, such as weather, penalties and game times, and a Dream Team mode in which you can create your own team. You can challenge the computer or a friend in a single Exhibition match or 16-game League play. You can also team up with a friend and take on the computer.<br><br>Other features include passwords for saving progress, more than 50 plays, grass and artificial turf fields, audibles, a Kick Meter, three difficulty levels and instant replay.

While I am glad that I got the correct item quickly, the seller neglected to mention that this disc required verification on a website that no longer exists. I was unable to use this product for this reason. I contacted the seller about the issue and received no reply. If you choose to buy from this seller, I would highly recommend doing a lot of research on their merchandise before buying because any issues with their merchandise might not be mentioned in their description.

Really ? = I have no control over what website was taking down. Microsoft is control of that. The date of release of item should have told you that.The item is still a collector item.

    This game is great i would buy it again just to have like 17 copys an then give it to everyone even if they dont have a genesis so they can have the best game evee in the world, whats Wii whats 360 whats ps3 those are rip offs. Had a 360 an PS3 an they both broke now i have my trusted sega that has never givin me problems EVER.No red ring of death an no blue screen of death!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    The Beginning Of Real Football Action!

    Everything pre-dating Joe Montana II was just your average, 4 plays in the playbook, press a button and score football. When this title came out, it was a new concept for gamers who loved to play football, that concept... EARN your victories. There are no more guaranteed touchdown plays, you've got to scrounge your way to those extra yards and your defense isn't going to be pitching shut-outs on the regular anymore. Joe Montana II was the first look at what would happen if you brought the realism of football into a video game. This was by no means the greatest football video game ever, but it was one of the stepping stones along the path of what brought about the football video games of today.
