"NEW" E.T?
I feel so dumb becasue I had no idea that Speilburg had fixed up this movie, so of course I had to immediatly snag a copy and see this. Other than a few easy to spot CG E.T moments that look awful, this version is amazing! Definately worth it for any fan.

I love this movie and disc 1 is brilliant, buy disc 2 has a major flaw at 1:09 I was able to skip forward, but with about a two minute gap, lt ruins the disc. Sure glad disc 1 plays perfectly. Not a good value for one disc.

I love that it has three versions, the original, the newly remastered, and the live version with the Orchestra performance. With interviews from the original cast all grown up, it brings the magic of the film and working with E.T. into a whole new light. Included in the case are a special introduction pamphlet with Steven Spielberg with behind the scenes information about the updates they made to the film's effects for the re-release of E.T., on the reverse side it has ... Great Movie. Good for Kids & Adults all in the same room. Family Classic for generations upon generations. My 3 year old boy and 6 year old girl love it. We share stories of "when I was a kid" after watching it. If you don't own this movie, buy it. If you've never seen it or have children who haven't, buy it now.
