Best stainless percolator!
This is the second one I have purchased. The first one is with the ex...lol! She would not part with it...hahaha! I do love this version it is nice strong and will last a lifetime if you keep it clean. It is so easy to clean so that shouldn't be any issue. There is nothing better than percolated coffee and this baby works without any electricity. That is the main reason for it. It does take time to perk coffee so don't expect it to be done in a min like your kurig but you won't get any better tasting coffee if you perk it. I like it because it can go anywhere and produce nice hot coffee or tea if that's what you are into. 5 stars and two thumbs up on this purchase!This is the second one I have purchased. Not impressive
I have used for 3 weeks before writing this review. When I unboxed it looked nice but putting the pieces together the basket doesn't sit high enough on the stem to reach the top defuser so the gap it makes can float coffee grains into the coffee and if you don't open the lid and remove the basket and stem when the coffee is done then when you pour your coffee it dumps the grains in giving you a half cup of grains. The lid needed to be bent properly to close. The glass top after one week crumbled apart, but there were two in the box so I was extra careful with the second and after a week and a half It is falling to pieces. I would not suggest this product to a friend. Sorry for a bad review I have used for 3 weeks before writing this review. A Healthy Brew
Made of stainless steel, a quality material that is not damaging to your health, you can brew your coffee without worrying about chemical drips or neurotoxins being part of it. It is versatile enough to be used on the stove or over a campfire. After the water gets hot, it is finished brewing in 5-6 minutes...not as quickly as some coffee makers, perhaps, but well worth the wait.
