For clarity, this was returned in live-view mode with only two shutter actuations attempted, which corroborated the buyer's claims that the display "turns off" when attempting to take a (still) photo. I could have guided through the setting change for a 10-second remedy, had I known this was the issue. I refunded the purchase despite my no-return policy and the buyer kindly sent the camera back to me in the condition sent to him. I'm grateful, and sorry for the inconvenience to this gentleman.
