      Sony Clie NR70U

      I bought discontinued Palm powered Sony Clie NR70U (those one without a camera). I'm very satisfied with this purchase. Recently I got several MS cards for this to store music and other files. Although this Sony supports MS only up to 128Mb, for me it is enough. It has very convenient remote controller for mp3 player. The screen of the device is just fantastic - it has HiRes feature and in many applications you have 480x320 screen size. Very comfortable for reading books. Not all modern devices have such screen. And, of course, Sony's firm Jog Dial. All of these functionalities make this device almost ideal for listening to the music and for reading books.

      This Model is real junk Not worth a Dime.

      I purchased the Sony Clie Model PEG NR-70 from a Seller here on Ebay. The Item looked amazing like brand new but didn't work when it arrived. The Seller of the Item included a new Battery with the PDA and I took it to my Best Buy Store and had them install it. (The New Battery) Well after the young man installed the Battery I took the PDA home and tried to charge the Battery like instructed. It didn't charge or do anything. The Unit didn't even power on... They made it so hard to install the New Battery on this particular Model that it should only be done by a Technician. It is not worth buying and sure doesn't meet up to Sony's high Quality Standards.... I have other Sony Clie PDA's and they are awesome. However beware of this Model PEG NR70

      Frustration

      This PDA with all of its features (including a full keyboard) was exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately, the battery would not hold a charge and I could not find a suitable replacement. It was a very frustrating experience. The documentation available on the web specified a different battery with a much lower voltage than the documentation which came with the PDA (3.7V vs 5.2V). The actual original battery matched the docs and not the web. The Sony website was no help in resolving the issue. As a result I was forced to return the device to the vendor who, incidentally was very helpful and cooperative.

      I BOUGHT THIS ITEM 'CAUSE I BOUGHT ONE WITHOUT A CHARGER,AND I ENDED IT UP BUYING ANOTHER NEW ONE, I DIDN'T EXPECT TO MUCH FROM IT, BUT IT TURNED OUT TO BE VERY FUNCTIONAL AND USEFUL , IS EASY TO HANDLE, SMALL AND RELIABLE, IN MY CASE WORKS GREAT FOR REMINDERS AND MEMOS, THINGS TO DO, U CAN SEE PIX AND USE IT WITH YOUR COMPUTER TOO, I THINK IS GREAT, I JUST NEED A CASE , I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A MORE HANDY CHARGER, ONE THAT IS FLAT OR SLIM TO CARRY WITH YOU....OVERALL I GUESS I RECOMMEND THIS ITEM TO OTHER BUYERS. THANK YOU
