    Intermittent signal

    Even with a brand new battery and soaking the heck out of the strap, the heartrate signal doesn't kick in until 20 minutes into my workout. I must touch the watch to the transmitter in order to get that to happen, so I spend the whole first half of the workout trying to get the thing going, and my stats are all completely skewed now.

    More durable than new straps

    This type of strap works with Polar and Garmin sensors. It is soft and comfortable and in my experience more durable than the new straps. Compared to the new Polar soft strap which works reliably just with moisture from your sweat, you need to moisten the pads to get a consistent result with this type of strap.

    Works perfect with Precor 5.35

    Bought this to use with my Precor 5.35 eliptical. Works perfect. Just wet the strap, put it on and it automatically started displaying on the precor. Very comfortable. Forget i'm wearing it.
