    A Neglected Superstar!

    This anthology provides a very nice overview of Fury's UK output. Essentially Fury was probably more style than substance. His flashy live performances often brought the house down (and in one censored performance in Scotland the curtain as well). But the man had a good voice and these tracks demonstrate that well. More of a pop singer than rocker Fury had a track record of numerous hits in the UK but failed to gain any substantial popularity in the U.S.. His misfortune was to come along when the United States was already saturated with Elvis and a horde of teen pop idols. A very nice collection of vintage 50s/60s material.

    REMEMBER BILLY FURY

    Billy Fury was one of the early UK teen idols. He was definitely Elvis influenced. He scored 11 top ten hits. They all are represented here. Included are all key EP tracks and B-Sides. The price of this 2CD is very reasonable. It is nice to see a collection of a somewhat forgotten pop star.

    The 40th Anniversary Anthology of Billy Fury

    Although Billy Fury JUST before my time I always had a thing for one particular song "I'll Never Fall in Love Again". Had a number of people searching for this song and finally received it on this CD. It is a super compilation and so many songs for the price. A great value and a terrific listen. Well worth investing in.
