About this product

Product Information

In “Digimon World: Dawn,” gamers begin as a member of the Light Fang team in the Sunshine district. After an earthquake with unknown life energy rocks the environment and causes many of the creatures to devolve into Digi-eggs, it is up to you to figure out what happened to them and restore the city. This game for the Nintendo DS platform features a storyline that entwines the plots of two separate characters and journeys.A member of the RPG genre of games, players fight with and capture characters in a digital world. To do this, the player becomes a Digimon Tamer, making friends with the Digimon they encounter in the game. Players can recruit wild Digimon or raise their own from Digi-eggs to progress through the game, defeating enemies and bosses. Best of all, players can trade with friends that own Digimon World to gain unique items and monsters. Collect, train, and battle with more than 400 creatures from eight different species. In “Digimon World,” players raise a single character at a time, putting all of their training and resources into that monster. As they do so, the monster grows and needs food, exercise, rest, and waste disposal to grow up optimally. Monsters who are resting or otherwise not engaged in battle relax in the central city, playing and working with other tamed monsters. There are many creature types, including dark, spirit, beast, dragon and others, each one with its own advantages. Players must search through the world to find feral Digimon to attack while also maintaining a strong defense against attack. Players also work to change the monster's DNA to modify its skills and abilities. Help monsters to evolve from Rookie form to Champion and Ultimate forms. In the end, the player confronts Analogman, who is the final boss at the end of the story.Dawn makes extensive use of the Nintendo DS's features. Players trade information and monsters via the Nintendo StreetPass feature as well as swap playable monsters using the wireless transfer system. Players also connect to the internet for new monsters and trading. There are unique, rare monsters in this game’s environment. Enjoy the challenge of trading for dark and spirit monsters with your friends. Use the map to see your current location and the location of the dungeons. As you explore each environment, you earn cash and experience to improve the effectiveness of both your character and its digital monsters. “Digimon World: Dawn” is an excellent take on the RPG genre with lots of dungeons to explore, creatures to encounter, and relationships to develop both within the world and with other players. It uses the wireless connectivity of the Nintendo DS system to enhance the overall gaming experience. Players have lots to do in the digital city of the game, in both the story and playing against others via the internet. This makes it an excellent choice for any player who loves RPGs and wants to experience a new twist on gameplay.

Items arrived well packed. But their condition is far away from "very good" as they were offered. The pics within the auction avoid showing the many hard damages (everything was pictured within a beneficial angel and high contrast). After contacting the seller he refunded a part of the money, thank you for that, so in total it was an acceptable experience.

    A wanted game now mine

I love pokemon and digimon The game is really good and a must for a digimon fan with a ds

  • Great game play concept, but redundant.

This game has a great concept to it: an RPG that relies heavily on strategy. It reminds me of Final Fantasy III for the DS, but unfortunately, it's not nearly as good. The game play is redundant, since all you ever really do is fight to make the less-than-remarkable plot line progress. There are no mini-games to take your mind off of quests for a while. The closest thing that the game offers to a mini-game is the Digimon Farm, which reminds me of the Tamagotchi's from my childhood where you take care of the cute little creature by feeding and caring for it. I would say that this game is just average, because of its lack of a good plot and mini-games, but the strategy-based battles and the Digimon collecting aspect make it somewhat interesting. I would recommend this game for teenage ...

  • LET'S GET DIGITAL!

It's exactly as I remember! I love being able to get all different kinds of Digimon and training them to be the best they can and seeing all the different routes of digivolution. If I had one criticism it's that for some reason Fan favorite digi armor digivolutions are not available but some of the more obscure ones are. And while that's neat I really wish we had either the full roster to choose from or at least a better selection. It's one of the better pick up and play style rpgs allowing you to save on the map just about anywhere and the digifarm and having up to 6 digimon 3 in party and 3 in reserve really help to cut down on grinding. It's not much but anything is still better than nothing. Overall if you're a fan of the Digimon franchise you'll find it a great game to play simply ...

  • A very excellent game.

the good,It's like pokemon, but better! the gameplay is simple and so is the leveling in the game. There's every digimon imaginable in the game! any one of them from any season is in there! and with dusk you can get even rarer digimon! the only bad thing is the game dosen't really explain the digifarm in the game but it's easy to learn.

  • By the power of the sun, save the Digital World!

Digimon World Dawn is the spear counterpart to Digimon World Dusk, but that doesn't mean it is just a copy and paste game. This game is actually harder than Dusk because it starts you off with battles and no chance to grind, and the beginning dungeon has much higher levels than dusk. I bought this game because to get some rare digimon you have to match digimon that are exclusive to each version, and it has a bonus of giving you strong digimon before you can normally get them. I love the challenge this game gives you, the freedom given in how you build your team, and the hours of fun to be had with the quests. But this game did take some steps back from Digimon World DS' farm customization; now you can no longer put any eight farm items they now have a size limit, and the farm no longer ...
