Take the role of Bolt, a young scientist who discovers a forgotten band of mechanical beings, and uncover the mysteries of an ancient civilization in Tokobot Plus: Mysteries of the Karakuri. Tokobots are robots from a lost generation who imprint on Bolt and follow him through the ten stages of play while performing tasks such as swinging, climbing, and spinning. Defeat an enemy by joining hands with your bots and twirling like a propeller, or line them up behind you for a vertical swing that is used as an attack or as an instant ladder. <br><br>Another assault option is "overdrive," and is similar to the Karakuri combination attacks found on the PSP version of the game. "Overdrive" is accomplished by the push of a button, which causes your robots to morph into larger versions of themselves complete with four different moves that can be powered up three times. If you and your bots are severely outnumbered and fading fast, you can utilize the power of "Super Chips," an attack that combines your mechanical mates into a large floating samurai. The samurai can be upgraded by spending cash you earn during your journey. <br><br>As you and your Tokobots travel through the game, you are challenged with 30 different enemies, puzzles, and boss battles. Hints and tips come in the form of a friendly girl named Ruby, and after completing story-based levels, you can unlock the "Time Trial" for each stage. During the game, you will have the opportunity to upgrade Bolt by earning points to increase the power of his attack and the length of his life bar. After defeating an enemy, your little friends can absorb the fallen foe's power and learn new moves.

    Great platformer, original feel too.

    I like this game. It provides originality since you can use the 8 robots (tokobots) for ladders, gliding, and whatnot. The platforming is fair because you can see the next ledge to jump on easily and the camera is pretty good too. I also liked the characters as well; none of them seemed stupid at all. The character setup with Ruby and Bolt sort of reminds me of Roll in Mega Man Legends 2 as Mega Man digs and she is your navigator. I like the archaeological aspect of it as well; I thought that was very original. I recommend this game to anyone who wants to try something different in a platformer.

    Overall fun game!

    A fun game my son enjoys playing with my husband or myself. Its just right for his age, not to violent or bad language and fairly simple to learn to play.

    Tokobot

    i love the puzzles. it's more of a challenge than most games. still haven't defeated the entire game but i'm like soooooooooooo addicted it started off kinda wierd tho most games start at the begining but this started off after the begining
