A must have for all canadians, it subtly hits all the things canadians are rumored to be like
The discs are in near perfect shape, the case cover is the original series artwork, this set is near flawless, and includes all the commentary and bonus features wanted by collectors. I would consider this a deal at twice the price paid, my only complaint is I didn't buy it sooner. Awesome canadiana!

Does anyone remember this "dreamy" mountie, a loyal wolf, a typical Chicago cop, and a ghost of a father? Well if you don't, get this and have fun following the exploits of an "untypical" partnership between the US and Canada in a story that lasted several seasons for fans around the world. I won't spoil the fun but "it's a grabber" and you'll wonder why in the end this one didn't last any longer than it did. Again, a mature audience adventure and "cop story" for families wondering what the viewing status is. Not one I would recommend for all members of your family, but definitely a "pull this one out of the shelf" if you like story, content, relationships, adventure, endings that actually make sense in the end. Don't worry about the quality rumors, totally Worth It.
Yes, there ARE some compression artifacts. Yes, it DOES look a little like old VHS rips. BUT WHO CARES? You have all the episodes, the sound is great, and you don't have to sit there waiting for youtube to autoplay part 2 of 3 except oh wait your TV has lost it's internet connection so you better go fix that first! The Complete Due South Collection
One of my all time favorite shows, I was delighted to finally find Due South in a complete Collection format. All four seasons have been collected into one box set. I love the container first of all. A hard plastic case with seperate, flipping hard plastic DVD holders inserted into the case like a book. I always like these better that the cardboard pouches that I have seen in similar complete collections. Then there's the show itself. It's one of the few American shows (if not only) that I know of that was cancelled in America only to be picked up by another country to be continued another two seasons. The off beat humor created as two worlds collided made this a remarkable series for me. The polite, black & white mountie meets the rough-around-the-edges Chicago cop after pursuing ... One of my all time favorite shows, I was delighted to finally find Due South in a complete Collection format. All four seasons have been collected into one box set. I love the container first of all. One cannot but but repeat the phrase "Thank you kindly" on a daily basis and pause a little longer to hold the door for the next person after watching this series, whether it be just one episode, or as in this case, all.

This a Great Set containing 3/4 of the Complete Series of Due South! I like that all the discs are in one sturdy hardcase, but wish more notes or a bonus disc might have been included. I also wish that you could buy the Complete Series of Due South in one such case rather than this set and the fourth and final set in another package. Overall good product and a good overlooked series from the CBC!This a Great Set containing 3/4 of the Complete Series of Due South!
