    Great classic

    Great cast, great soundtrack. There is only one Conan. Momoa did great on the new one but I’m just an old timer who loves this version better. Disc was just as described. Works great.

    The best Barbarian... the ONLY Barbarian!

    Despite being hampered by the major star's complete inability to speak english, Milius and company produce a fine film that does complete justice to R.E. Howards iconic mythic figure. Scharzenegger was and is the only person large enough to play "THE" barbarian. And luckily James Earl Jones was there to give him the perfect villain. This film stacks up against the best of the Samurai films of the 40's and 50's. The score is masterful. All the above make this a must have. This remastered Blu-Ray is "alright". The sound is improved over the DVD version but the picture quality does NOT seem to be much better. The DVD version has superior extras and I certainly haven't chucked it. Still it's nice to have this one in the library. Worf

    Another Arni classic!

    Epic! Though not comic book and novel accurate, it sure carries the original work's spirit to the nth degree! Arnold's presence , John Milius' direction, not to mention the production values...........it is light years from the recent (and supposedly, more source material accurate) remake. Not to be missed!
